Description

This will be a fascinating visit to the National Sound Archive and studio complex at the British Library on Friday the 20th of January 2017. There is no charge for this event.


13:40 - 13:50 IPS visitors report to the Information Desk in the main entrance.

14:00 - 15:00 A brief welcome and then an illustrated talk about the work and operations of the National Sound Archive, hopefully followed by a general Q&A session.

15:00 After the presentation the attendees will be split into groups. Visitors taken for a tour of the studios, work spaces, other facilities, and archive/storage.

16:00 (approx) Visit ends.

There is a maximum of 20 visitors for this event. Ticket booking closes 3 days before the event to allow for attendee name submission to the British Library for security reasons.
